Description
The Cape Neddick Lobster Pound is part of the adjoining Harborside Restaurant. The one room pound was built in 1959, and is locally referred to as "The Pound".
What"s a Lobster Pound you ask? It's a place with large saltwater tanks, with freshly pumped saltwater, to nourish the "fresh off-the-boat" lobsters.
Both the shack and the saltwater tanks are still in use today.
